Description
The Hotel Inglaterra in Havana is the oldest hotel in the capital of Cuba and has been declared a National Monument. It opened its doors in 1875, and within its walls the spirit and style of the end of the 19th century survive, since behind its neoclassical façade the elegant original decoration is hidden. Among the illustrious guests of this historic hotel is Winston Churchill, who stayed here as an observer of the war in Cuba.
Located in the center of Havana, this hotel is close to the Central Park or the Gran Teatro, making it a strategic place from which to discover the charm of the colonial city. It has an exclusive restaurant with a colonial atmosphere and the La Sevillana bar. Its highest floor offers excellent views of the city.
Its rooms are equipped with modern amenities, including a private bathroom and centralized air conditioning.
